Have you noticed the time requirements for helicopter jobs?  If you finished your ratings and still don't meet the requirements of your first job, here's what you're looking for. 
  • For flight instructors, this program gets you qualified to teach in the R44 in less than a week. 
  • Do you need hood time or cross country time for your instrument rating? 
  • Have you been offered an R44 job but lack the R44 PIC time? 
Get it in the fastest, least expensive way possible.  Build helicopter time in an R44 helicopter.

2007 Season:  The owner has decided not to lend his machine for timebuilding this year.

Last year's price  - as of 8/1/2006: 
  • 10 hour block, $250 per hour
  • 25 hour block, $240 per hour
  • 50 hour block, $230 per hour
  • 75 hour block, $220 per hour
  • 100 hour block, $210 per hour
  • 200 hour block, $200 per hour
  Does not include fuel.  An R44 burns 12-15 gal/hour.  Check the fuel at KZPH for more info.

 Conditions 
This special price is valid until December, 2006.  You are responsible for your own hotel, meals, and personal expenses.  You must pay for all time blocks in advance to qualify for the price.

Foreign Pilots
No special visa is required for timebuilding because its not flight training for new ratings.  Special note for Canadian pilots:  Transport Canada has confirmed that timebuilding in American registered helicopters is valid time in your logbook.  You do not need an FAA pilot certificate to participate in this program.  For more information, see the page on flight training for foreign students.  This time building program is not flight training.
